Welcome to Sydling Brook Organic

Our organic farm  is set at the head of the beautiful Sydling valley in Dorset and covers a number of valleys of rare chalk downland.

 

We believe in ‘traditional, mixed farming’, farming based on rotations of crops and livestock to naturally build soil fertility, improve soil structure and to control pests and disease. Our traditional breeds of animals are treated with the highest respect, we believe happy animals grazing on home grown fodder, maturing slowly, produce wonderful meat.

 

We grow old varieties of crops such as spelt and rye, with a high emphasis placed on conservation and encouraging biodiversity. We only sell meat that has been reared on our farm, giving complete confidence in its provenance, traceability and quality.
