ARABLE

We manage our arable land with 5 or 6 year rotations. We grow a fertility building red or white clover ley for 2 to 3 years, then 3 years of arable cropping before returning to clover.

Given our light, chalky soils we favour less demanding crops such as spelt and milling oats. Crops that are in high consumer demand.
